Groups

​

 

  • Groups of 10+ people can self-tour the aquarium for just $13.95 per person, Monday - Friday during regular hours. Kids under 2 years old are free!

  • Groups of children must have one responsible adult per every 10 children.

  • Tickets are available for up to 60 people per 30 minute timeslot.

  • Group tickets must be booked in advance with a 30% nonrefundable deposit.

  • Balance will need to be paid on one tab, not individual ticket payments.

  • For groups visiting on Saturday and Sunday, regular admission fees apply.

  • Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome.

Our system is set up to book 7 days in advance If your group would like to come within the week please email us so we can manually book your reservation.

How to Get the Most Out of Your Visit:

  • Please allow time to park and prepare for your visit.

  • Be prepared to have fun while learning about the wonders of the ocean and ask our educators about anything you want to know more about!

  • If you are running late for your reserved group visit, please call ahead. We will do our absolute best to accommodate you.

  • Don't forget to visit our gift shop!

Groups of 10 or more with sensory issues, mobility issues and/or special needs, please contact us. We are happy to try to accommodate your group with a guided tour before we open on weekdays, when no school groups are scheduled.

What to Expect

​

To ensure that each visitor has the best possible experience, large groups will be split into smaller groups of 60 or less every 30 minutes. Please plan the necessary travel itinerary ahead of your arrival. Most groups will spend 1 ½ hours during their exploration of the Aquarium, but there is no time limit!

Our award winning Event Venue offers extraordinarily unique event spaces for corporate gatherings and convention groups with scenic river views to awe-inspiring aquatic habitats and full service catering.

Code of Conduct:

  • No flash photography, please!

  • Be courteous and respectful of all visitors, exhibits and building. Talk quietly as you explore the wonders of the Aquarium. No running or horseplay.

  • Help protect the animals. When permitted, touch the animals gently using the two-finger touch method. Please do not disturb animals by tapping on the windows.

  • Keep food, drinks and gum outside the aquarium. 

  • Adults must stay with children and students at all times during your visit, regardless of the age of the student.

Tax exempt groups: you must present your R-1056 form at admissions to have sales tax deducted from final bill. The only groups who are tax exempt from paying LA sales taxes are government agencies and public schools with a R-1056 form.
