BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Our birthday parties are JAWsome!
We will look forward to creating some magical memories and making your child’s birthday turtle-y unforgettable! And grown-ups, we promise you will find yourself being entertained and educated, too.
We will have two different parties to choose from:
UNDER THE SEA PARTY (Ages 2 to 12)
This 90 minute party includes:

Aquarium admission for up to 15 participants and a guided tour: Learn about sharks, stingrays, eels, turtles and more with one of our friendly and knowledgeable educators

An underwater birthday sign placed in a tank with your child’s name!

A big dig for gold, gems and fossils at our Red River Treasure Mine and keep your findings! (child participants only)

A stingray feeding for the birthday child

Time in the learning lab/party room for cake and presents (cake not included)

Lemonade, decorative tableware and utensils

Special gift from Shreveport Aquarium for the birthday child
PRICE: $300 for up to 15 participants
(includes ALL attendees: birthday child, host family, guests, other parents, etc).
Members: $30 discount
Additional guests: $15 up to 40 people

Saturday/Sunday: 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m.
BEHIND THE SCENES PARTY (Ages 8+ only)
This two hour party includes:

Aquarium admission for up to 10 participants with a 90 minute guided tour.

Behind the scenes tour in a real biologist’s labs: learn how the aquariums runs

Animal food preparation with our aquarists

Animal feedings: Feed some of our amazing ambassadors and see how all of our amazing animals are taken care of

Time in the learning lab/party room for cake and presents (cake not included)

Lemonade, decorative tableware and utensils

Special gift from Shreveport Aquarium for the birthday child!

This party is limited to 10 people as our science labs are not equipped to hold larger groups. Must be age 8 or older.
PRICE: $300 for up to 10 participants

We need a minimum of 48 hours notice for a birthday party
ADD-ONS
Make it a PIZZA PARTY: Add on a large 16” pizza for $16.99 each
Make it an ICE CREAM PARTY: Add on ice cream treats for $2 per person
DECOR
Servingware (plates, cups, utensils, napkins) are provided by Shreveport Aquarium. You are welcome to bring themed centerpieces, paperware and goody bags for your party. For the safety of our animals, balloons, glitter, confetti, banners, streamers, noisemakers are not permitted.
RESERVATIONS
To book your celebration, a nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required. Once your book your date and pay the deposit a party host will contact you to assist in making your activity selections and answering your questions. Final payment must be made in our retail shop at the conclusion of party.
