Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to offer group visits of over 10 people. Groups of less than 10 can purchase regular tickets here (must be members of same household)


Ready to confirm your group visit? Fin-tastic! Please review the Group Guidelines below and contact us to reserve your date. Please try booking your group 30-60 days in advance. The following information is for non-school groups. Find out about school field trips here.

General Information

  • Groups will explore the aquarium on their own.

  • During summer (May 15 - Aug 30) we offer guided tours to inquiring groups at 9, 9:30, 10 and 10:30 AM Monday thru Friday. Reservations only.

  • Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome.

Group Rates

  • The group price for 10 visitors or more is available only on weekdays and is $10 (ages 13+). Children 3-12 years old are $9 each and kiddos 2 years old and under are free! Groups must be booked in advance.

  • For camps, daycare centers, church groups and scouts we offer a $7 rate per child and one free adult chaperone per 10 children (weekdays only). Groups must be booked in advance.

  • For groups arriving on weekends, regular admission fees apply: $15 (ages 13+), $12 (ages 3-12) and kiddos 2 and under are free.

What to Expect

To ensure that each visitor has the best possible experience, large groups will be split into smaller groups of 50 or less. Please plan the necessary travel itinerary ahead of your arrival. Most groups will spend 1 ½ hours during their exploration of the Aquarium, but there is no time limit!

Code of Conduct

  • No flash photography, please!

  • Be courteous and respectful of all visitors. Talk quietly as you explore the wonders of the Aquarium.

  • Be respectful of the Aquarium exhibits and building.

  • Please do not use pens or pencils inside the Aquarium unless permitted by a staff member.

  • Help protect the animals. When permitted, touch the animals gently using the illustrated two-finger touch method. Please do not disturb animals by tapping on the windows.

  • Adults must stay with children at all times during your visit, regardless of the age of the child.

What Else You Should Know:

  • If you are running late for your reserved group visit, please call ahead. We will do our absolute best to accommodate your group, but please keep in mind that your tour may be condensed accordingly.

  • If a group member gets lost or injured, please find the nearest staff member to assist you.

  • The Gift Shop is located at the end of the Aquarium next to the Touching Tomorrow, Today Gallery. 


How to Get the Most Out of Your Visit:

  • Be sure you understand the plan for the day by checking in with the group leader.

  • Please allow time to park and prepare for your visit.

  • Share the behavior guidelines with all group visitors.

  • Be prepared to have fun while learning about the wonders of the ocean!

  • Ask our educators about anything you want to know more about

  • Shreveport Aquarium does not have a designated location for groups to eat lunch inside the faciltiy. Please plan ahead. Riverview Park and the Red River District make the perfect location for a picnic lunch!
