From April 1 - 30, team members commit to concrete actions like carpooling, planting a tree, watching educational documentaries, spending more time outside, and volunteering in their communities. Points are awarded for each action taken. Actions are recorded systematically throughout Earth Month to demonstrate the cumulative impact of global participants. Movie begins at 7 p.m.
All ages – Free
Racing Extinction (NR) is a 2015 award-winning documentary that takes a sobering look at the mass extinctions that are likely to occur if humanity continues to engage in actions that pollute and degrade our oceans and land. Scientists are estimating that half of the species currently on earth will be extinct by the end of the century.
The movie investigates the problems but also offers solutions and how we can work together to stop, and, in some cases, reverse the current course we are on.
Food (sustainable seafood and plant-based dishes) will be provided free of charge and a cash bar will be available.
Tickets are limited and must be reserved in advance. This is for members only.

Stock up on reusable items
Single-use plastics items can end up in our oceans and animals can eat or become entangled in them. Choose reusable or biodegradable straws, cups and totes to keep the animals safe. Our Sea Store has a variety of these reusable items for purchase.
Know any local restaurants who would like to take the pledge and help keep our oceans clean?
Receive $500 worth of eco-friendly to-go supplies on us! Say NO to single-use plastic food packaging! Single-use plastics are an environmental disaster. Disposable straws, to-go containers, water bottles and plastic bags that once seemed like a nice convenience have become something else: a massive, eternal pile of garbage in our ocean waters and landfills. Visit our plastic partners page for more information.
