🔎 Mine for Megalodon Teeth — Daily in the Red River Treasure Mine

Dig through time to uncover real fossilized shark teeth and treasures. Will you be the lucky guest to discover the giant Megalodon tooth replica? One winner each week beginning June 22! (Extra fee applies. Keep all finds.)

📚 Shark Explorer Stamp Trail — Daily

Explore the aquarium while learning about our sharks along the way. Collect all 6 shark stamps on your Shark Explorer card and show it in the gift shop to receive a cool shark sticker!

🍽️ Shark Talks & Feedings — Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 2:30 PM

Watch our sharks enjoy their lunch while our team shares fascinating facts about shark behavior, adaptations and ocean conservation. Meet Sherlock the Shark, our mascot!

🦈 Meet Yoko, the Mystery Swell Shark — Daily

Yoko, our baby swell shark, hatched without any male sharks in the habitat. Could it be parthenogenesis or delayed fertilization? Her rare birth story has made headlines around the world! Learn about Yoko’s incredible journey as we await DNA results.

🤚 Interact with Stingrays & Bamboo Sharks — Daily

Did you know stingrays are closely related to sharks? Feed and interact with our rays and small bamboo sharks while learning about their incredible senses and adaptations.

🦈 Adopt-a-Shark — Daily

Symbolically adopt one of our sharks online or in our gift shop and receive a mini plush, adoption certificate and a new appreciation for shark conservation.

The first 20 kids ages 2–12 through the door each day receive a shark-themed party pack! (Valid with regular admission or membership. Excludes groups and field trips.)

🧪 Science Chat with Mr. Pat — SHARK Edition

Join our Animal Husbandry aquarist for special shark talks and demonstrations exploring shark biology, myths and adaptations.

🎨 Shark Art & Poetry Gallery — Daily During Shark Week

Bring in your shark-themed artwork or poem for a chance to win our grand prize Shark Basket!

🎨 Shark Crafts — Daily, 11 AM – 12 PM

Stop by Contact Cove to create your own shark-themed take-home craft.

👃 Shark Senses Lab — Daily, 1 PM – 2 PM

Discover how sharks use electroreception, explore real shark jaws and learn about mysterious “mermaid purses.”

🦈Shark story time and bubble dance party - TBD

Join Sherlock for a a fun shark-themed story, then we'll turn up the music, and blow bubbles for a short dance party that's perfect for little shark fans.

🌮 Shark Week Trivia & Tacos Night - Tuesday, July 28 | 5:30 PM & 7 PM Seating

Join us in the event pavilion for shark trivia, taco bar, themed drinks and prizes for trivia champions! $15 at the door or FREE for members with ID

🎂 Zenon’s Birthday Party - Thursday, July 30 at 11:30 AM

Celebrate Zenon the Zebra Shark’s 9th birthday! Watch her enjoy a clam-flavored birthday cake and enjoy cupcakes for human guests.
