Kick off the summer with an unforgettable underwater adventure as enchanting mermaids arrive at Shreveport Aquarium for a limited-time magical experience! These whimsical ocean travelers have journeyed from distant seas, collecting stories and treasures from beneath the waves along the way.

Watch in amazement as mermaids gracefully swim among sharks, stingrays and vibrant tropical fish in a breathtaking underwater spectacle that brings fantasy to life right before your eyes. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy continuous underwater performances from 11 am - 4 pm, filled with twirls, flips, waves and magical interactions.

Mermaid Meet & Greets On land, guests can meet a mermaid up close from 11 am - 1 pm, 2 - 4 pm, perfect for photos and unforgettable family memories.

You must pre-book online as spots are very limited. Mermaid Makeover experience only available for children ages 3-12.

When buying your tickets, timeslots provided are your arrival time at the party room (side event entry entrance facing Ballys). After the makeover you will go through the aquarium.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the mermaid show included with aquarium admission?
Yes, underwater mermaid viewing and meet and greets are included with regular admission. You only need a VIP ticket if you want your child to experience the Mermaid Makeover on May 30 or June 6.
What dates are the mermaids at Shreveport Aquarium?
Limited time only! May 30 & 31 and June 4–7 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Is the mermaid event good for kids?
Yes! The event is designed for families and children of all ages.
Can I meet the mermaids?
Yes. Guests can meet a dry-land mermaid daily from 11–1 and 2–4.
