JOB DESCRIPTION – RETAIL SPECIALIST

 

Retail Specialists are responsible for checking out guests while educating them on the eco-friendly and sustainable initiatives of the Sea Store and the individual products within. Delivering world class guest interactions while maximizing revenue in a passionate and personable manner. Using skills and training to achieve up sell targets and maintain standards of presentation within the store.

Crew Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations to meet customers' needs.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Sales and Product Knowledge:

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of our products to effectively promote and sell merchandise.

• Meet or exceed sales targets and goals, consistently driving per capita sales.

• Stay informed about product features, benefits, and pricing to provide accurate information to customers.

Merchandising and Stock Management:

• Ensure that the sales floor is well-organized and products are neatly displayed.

• Restock merchandise as needed to maintain inventory levels.

Point of Sale (POS) Operations:

• Accurately and efficiently handle cash and card transactions using our POS system.

• Maintain cash register accuracy and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Retail Manager and team members to achieve store goals.

• Assist in training new team members as needed.

• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

What we're looking for:

• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-oriented individuals

• Retail experience of 5 years

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

• Must have excellent communication skills.

• Must comply with background check

• Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and late evenings

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Part-time, up to $15 per hour (based on experience)
