🎃 SPOOKY SEAS FALL BREAK Oct 5–9 

We open early this week at 10 am. Spend Fall Break exploring the spooky side of the animal world! Enjoy family-friendly Halloween crafts, hunt for hidden pumpkins throughout the aquarium and catch special creepy creature talks and encounters.

Tiny Terrors Tuesday Oct. 6 | 10:30 AM–12 PM

Bring your little pumpkin for a not-so-spooky morning featuring storytime, a creepy-cute creature encounter, a visit with Sherlock and playtime in the Play Pavilion. Costumes are encouraged, so dress up your little ghost, shark or mermaid for some frightfully fun underwater adventures!

🍬 'TANK OR TREAT' WEEKENDS Oct. 24, 25 & 31

Put on your costume and go Tank or Treating through the aquarium! Kids can collect treats at stations along the way while enjoying a day filled with Halloween fun.

Spooky Bubble Dance Party Oct. 24, 25 & 31 at 10:30 am
Dance, play and pop some bubbles with our mascots in the Play Pavilion, plus snap some adorable Halloween photos!

CREEPY CREATURES ALL MONTH LONG!

Our regular animal feedings and encounters are getting a Halloween twist throughout October. Meet prehistoric predators, creepy crawlers, slithering reptiles and mysterious creatures while discovering why some of the animals that look the scariest are actually pretty amazing.

🐊 Gator Chomp! Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 1:30 PM

They may be little, but those jaws are made for chomping! Meet our baby gators and discover the creepy-cool adaptations that make alligators such incredible predators.

🦈 Feeding Frenzy: Sharks! Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 2:30 PM

Something is lurking beneath the surface...and it's hungry! Watch our sharks spring into action at feeding time while discovering the amazing senses and adaptations that make them such successful ocean predators.

🐢 Monster Jaws: Snapping Turtle Feeding Tuesday & Thursday | 2:30 PM

Meet the real-life river monster of the aquarium! With powerful jaws, spiky shells and prehistoric looks, our alligator snapping turtle look like she could have stepped right out of a Halloween movie.

🕷️ Creepy Crawlers Wednesday | 3 PM

Cockroaches, tarantulas and creepy crawlies—oh my! Get an up-close look at some of the creatures that give people the chills and discover why these misunderstood animals are actually pretty amazing.

🐍 Slithers & Scales Friday | 3 PM

Slither over for a Halloween encounter with William Snakespeare and some of his reptile friends! Discover the truth behind creepy reptile myths and learn about the amazing adaptations that make snakes such successful hunters.

👻 Mystery Creature Encounter Tuesday & Thursday | 2 PM • Wednesday | 1 PM

What's hiding in the creature keeper's Halloween habitat? You'll have to come find out! Meet a surprise animal and discover its strange adaptations, unusual behaviors and creepy-cool superpowers. It could crawl, slither, hop or hiss—the featured creature changes!
