Position Summary
The Event Supervisor ensures the smooth and successful execution of private events at our venue. After an event is booked, this role takes the lead in finalizing details with the client, coordinating with culinary and bar teams, scheduling staff, and overseeing all aspects of the event from set-up to breakdown. The Event Supervisor serves as the primary on-site contact, ensuring a seamless guest experience and well-organized operations.

Key Responsibilities

Review event details, confirm final arrangements with clients, and communicate needs with culinary, bar, security, and operations teams.

Coordinate ordering and inventory of event supplies, including food, beverages, and bar items.

Schedule and oversee event staff, ensuring proper coverage and service standards.

Supervise set-up of event spaces, décor, equipment, and guest areas according to client specifications.

Act as the on-site lead during events, monitoring flow, guest satisfaction, and staff performance while addressing issues as they arise.

Oversee event breakdown, cleanup, and reset, ensuring the venue is returned to standard condition.

Complete basic post-event wrap-up, including staff check-out and event reporting.
Schedule & Compensation

Part-time, averaging 2–4 events per month; 6–8 during holiday months.

Each event typically involves 8–12 hours of work, including pre-event tasks of scheduling and ordering and the day of tasks of set-up, event management and breakdown.

Mostly evenings and weekends

Compensation: $250 per event (flat rate) plus potential tips.
