Every day of Shark Week
Kids, bring in shark-themed art to add to our Shark Art Gallery and get a ticket for a free Mako Me Crazy drink in our café (dine-in only) complete with gummy sharks!

 

Fin Fact Frenzy Quiz trail
Every day of Shark Week
Do you know all of our sharks by name? Complete our Quiz Trail to get better acquainted with the sharks of the Shreveport Aquarium. Find them all and get a cool sticker and a chance to win the grand prize Shark basket with plush toys, tote bags, water bottle, mugs, pencils, coin purse and more!

 

Meet Sherlock!
11 – 4 pm, every day of Shark Week
Sherlock the Shark will be swimming through the aquarium every hour on the hour for pictures and finny high fives!

 

Shark Craft!
11 - Noon, every day of Shark Week
Visit our activity station in Contact Cove to create a cool shark-themed take home craft

 

Shark Science!
1 - 2 pm, every day of Shark Week
Stop by our activity station in Contact Cove to learn how sharks use electroreception to capture prey and check out some neat artifacts like shark jaws and mermaid purses!

 

Airbrush Tattoos
2 – 4 pm, every day of Shark Week
Embrace your love of sharks and the ocean with a free fearsome airbrush tattoo!

It's lunch time for our sharks! Come check out the unique feeding behaviors of these magnificent (and often misunderstood) creatures. Learn fascinating facts about these incredible predators from one of our experts. Meet all of our seven species of sharks.

Blood Drive
Mon, July 24 and Wed, July 26 from 10 am – 1 pm
LifeShare will set up in front of the aquarium and all donors will receive a free water bottle.

Zenon’s Birthday Party
Thursday, July 27, 11:30 a.m.
ZENON TURNS SIX!!! Come sing happy birthday to Shreveport’s favorite zebra shark! Watch her enjoy her clam-flavored birthday cake! Cupcakes will be available as well for human party guests. Swing by during the week before the party and sign her birthday card!
