Some of our guests have encountered extended commute times to the aquarium due to the I-20 lane closures/road improvement project. During certain peak hours, such as the morning rush between 8-10 am and the evening commute from 4-6 pm, you may experience up to an additional 15-20 minutes of travel time.

To ensure your travel time is as quick as possible, we recommend utilizing Google Maps or www.511la.org to find the quickest and most efficient routes to our aquarium. Additionally, we have curated a selection of alternate routes for your convenience, which you may find especially advantageous during these peak traffic periods.

Alternate route coming from East
Take I-20 West
Take exit 26 for I-220 W toward By-Pass
Continue onto I-220 W
Take exit 7A to merge onto LA-1 S/US-71 S/N Market St toward Shreveport
Pass by Cadence Bank (on the right in 1.8 mi)
Turn left onto Caddo St
Turn right onto Clyde Fant Memorial Pkwy
After Bally's you will see aquarium on left
Turn right onto Milam St to access parking garage entrance
Garage entrance will be on right, park on 2nd floor
Alternate route coming from West
Take I-20 East
Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 11 to merge onto I-220 E
Take exit 7A to merge onto LA-1 S/US-71 S/N Market St toward Shreveport
Merge onto LA-1 S/US-71 S/N Market St
Pass by Cadence Bank (on the right in 1.7 mi)
Turn left onto Caddo Street
Turn right onto Clyde Fant Memorial Pkwy
After Bally's you will see aquarium on left
Turn right onto Milam St to access parking garage entrance
Garage entrance will be on right, park on 2nd floor
Alternate route coming from the North
Take I-49 South
Take exit 215 for North Market St
Use any lane to turn left onto LA-1 S/N Market St
Pass by Cadence Bank (on the right in 6.2 mi)
Turn left onto Aero Dr
Turn right onto Grimmett Dr
Merge onto Clyde Fant Memorial Pkwy
After Bally's you will see aquarium on left
Turn right onto Milam St to access parking garage entrance
Garage entrance will be on right, park on 2nd floor
Alternate route coming from the South
Take I-49 North
Use the left 3 lanes to take exit 206C for Murphy St toward Pete Harris Dr
Turn right onto Murphy St
Turn left onto Texas Ave
At Caddo Common Park Texas Ave turns right and becomes Crockett St
Continue straight to stay on Crockett St
Turn left Clyde Fant Memorial Pkwy, you will see aquarium on your right
Turn left onto Milam St to access parking garage entrance
Garage entrance will be on right, park on 2nd floor
