Birthday Parties
Sharks at your birthday party? Yes!
We look forward to creating some magical memories and making your child’s birthday turtle-y unforgettable! And grown-ups, we promise you will find yourself being entertained and educated, too.
Our birthday parties are guided tours with animal interactions, treasure mining or behind the scenes exploration and time in our party room/learning lab.
UNDER THE SEA PARTY (ages 2 - 12)
This 90 min party includes:

Aquarium admission for up to 15 people

A guided tour: Learn about sharks, stingrays, eels, turtles and more!

An underwater birthday sign in tank with your child’s name

A big dig for gems and fossils at our Red River Treasure Mine and keep your findings! (child participants only)

A free stingray feeding for the birthday child (add additional feedings at $3 per person)

30 minutes in the party room for cake (not included). Pizzas and ice cream can be added on. See menu below

Lemonade, decorative plates and utensils

Special gift from Shreveport Aquarium for the birthday child

Extra time $50 for 30 min (recommended if food is being served)

BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR (Ages 8+ only)
This 2 hr party includes:

Aquarium admission for up to 10 people with a 90 minute guided tour

Behind the scenes fun in a real biologist’s labs

Animal food prep with an aquarist

Animal feedings: Feed some of our amazing ambassadors and see how all of our amazing animals are taken care of

An underwater birthday sign in tank with your child’s name!

This party is limited to 10 people as our science labs are not equipped to hold larger groups. Must be age 8 or older.

No outside food is allowed to be brought in with the exception of cake or cupcakes
We are proud to be an Eco-Friendly Venue. This means:

NO STYROFOAM OR SINGLE-USE PLASTICS (SODA/WATER BOTTLES, PLASTIC UTENSILS, CUPS, STRAWS) ARE PERMITTED.

Due to their harmful effects on the marine environment, NO BALLOONS, PLASTIC GLITTER OR CONFETTI IS PERMITTED (sea turtles, birds and other wildlife mistakenly eat the balloons and/or become entangled in them).

Anything that was once a part of a marine habitat is also not allowed (removing shells, starfish and sand dollars from their natural environment wreaks havoc on the ocean’s ecosystems).
MEET A MERMAID
Dive into a magical adventure with our newest party addition - a beautiful mermaid! After your aquarium visit, step into our party room to be greeted by our mermaid who's ready to make your day even more special. Strike a pose and snap some photos with your new underwater friend and make memories that will last a lifetime!
$100 add-on
RESERVATIONS
To book your celebration, a nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required. You must book at least 7 days in advance. Add-ons like food or mermaid must be added at time of booking. Once you book your date and pay the deposit a party host will contact you to answer any questions. Final payment must be made in our retail shop at the conclusion of party. Member discount will be taken off total bill.
