RESTAURANT HOST/HOSTESS

We are seeking a friendly, upbeat Host/Hostess to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate loves making small talk with guests and is willing to learn patrons’ names in our small-town establishment. He or she should be willing to fill in as needed for busboys, and servers to keep up with busy shifts. Some back-of-house assistance might be needed, such as with counting down tills and inspecting/cleaning restrooms. If you love the restaurant business and genuinely enjoy people, we need to hear from you.

 

Crew Member Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction
  • Greet guests upon entry
  • Check reservations, make if needed and available
  • Create great environment for waiting guests
  • Seat guests as table becomes available
  • Communicate to Wait Staff/Bussers guests have been seated
  • Keep guests updated as the status of their table
  • Fill-in for Bussers and Wait Staff as needed
  • Assist with Back of House needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to adhere to company employee guidelines (i.e. Planet Aqua Group – Shreveport Aquarium policies and guidelines)
  • Must comply with background check
  • Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and late evenings
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation based upon experience.
